Kinder-Star Information
Dear Family,
When it is my Kinder-Star week, there are some special things that I need you to help me with.
1) The buddy in the bag gets to come home with me all week. Please help me fill in one journal page about what my buddy and I did during my week. You can write the words for me and I'll draw the picture. Mrs. Osnes says that I can write the words I know and letters that I can hear. Please send this back to school on Thursday.
2) Monday-I need to bring in pictures (baby, family, pets, home, drawings, etc.) to show to my classmates.
3) Tuesday-I can bring my favorite book for Mrs. Osnes to read to the class.
4) Wednesday-I need to bring the estimation jar filled with items that my class can look at. (Ideas are marshmallows, beads, cotton balls, cereal, etc.) We are learning how to make close guesses (estimates) and will be counting to check our guesses. Please keep the number of items in the jar at 10 or less.
5) Thursday-Please help me bring the buddy, the backpack and Kinder-star journal back to school. I will share my journal page with my class.
6) Friday-I can bring my favorite toy to show the class.
I know my week will be a great week.

P.S.-Please help me keep the bag and everything in it away from pets and younger children. They might ruin it and there are many children in my class who will use this.
